Mendez Middle School Troop

We are collaborating with the Capital Area Boy Scouts to bring a Boy Scout troop to Mendez Middle School. The biggest challenge in establishing a troop in Dove Springs is that parents are often unable to volunteer. If you are interested in leading a troop or volunteering with a troop in the Dove Springs area please contact us.

Believe It. Live It.

In 2007, we collaborated with the Boy Scouts and Arrowhead Films to produce the film, Believe It. Live It., which profiles people who apply the 12 virtues of Scout Law into their everyday lives. To see the film, go to www.scouttube.org.

Nature Studies

The Veritas Educational Foundation provides opportunities for Boy Scouts to get involved in nature and environmental studies by providing them with an environment in which they can fish, hike, and learn about nature. For more information about how to reserve our land for your Boy Scout Troop, please contact us.

Eagle Scout Service Projects

We sponsor community projects for Boy Scouts to fulfill requirements for their Eagle recognition. The Veritas Educational Foundation understands the importance of American scouting and believes strongly in its own commitment to helping young men achieve their goal and attain the highest Scout rank, the Eagle.
