Mendez Middle School

Learning. Leadership. Fun.

We provide students at Mendez Middle School with a comprehensive mentoring program to help them become successful.  We match students in our program with mentors who meet with students during the school day.  Our students attend our afterschool tutoring program at least twice a week, where they use an interactive, web-based program to improve math and reading skills.  Every month we plan a fun field trip to reward students for their effort and good behavior.  Additionally, we plan fun weekend events for students, mentors, and parents twice a semester.  In order to give students this wonderful opportunity we rely on volunteers to generously give their time and become mentors.
